🏷️ Company Tags in InTakt
🎯 Purpose
Company tags let users associate tasks with specific subcontractors or crews, enabling easier visual grouping, filtering, and reporting. These tags are foundational for more advanced collaboration and export features.
✅ Key Capabilities
1. Assigning Company Tags to Tasks
- Company tags can be applied directly from:
- Task properties in schedule view
- Task properties in takt settings (1)
- Work plan view for subtasks (3)
- Companies tab inside project settings (2)
- Users can:
- Select an existing company tag
- Create a new one with a custom name and color by simply typing the name
- Edit names/colors later in Project Settings → Companies tab
2. Visualizing Company Tags (4)
- Schedule View and Zone Maps now offer display toggles between:
- Task Color (original task color coding)
- Company Color (shared color for all tasks tagged to a company)
- This helps teams visually trace which company is active across zones and time blocks.
3. Editing and Managing Tags
- Company names and colors can be updated centrally in the Project Settings > Companies tab.
- Updates reflect instantly across tasks and views where those tags are used.
