🧭 What Is “Dissolve”?

When you delete a task in InTakt:

Instead of breaking the logic flow, InTakt automatically reconnects the preceding and following tasks.

It uses smart logic to decide the cleanest way to relink, minimizing clutter and avoiding redundant ties.

✨ What Happens When You Dissolve a Task?

Let’s say you have this flow:

If you delete the middle Task (A2):

InTakt will automatically link the A1 and B directly to E and A3.

Any added relationships you had (like G-links or Finish-Start ties) are factored in when re-linking.

This preserves the flow without manual rework.

✅ When to Use It

You’re cleaning up your plan and removing temporary or outdated tasks.

You’re simplifying handoffs between trades or phases.

You’re reorganizing task flow and want logic to auto-adjust cleanly.
