Multi-rows

Visually stack overlapping tasks for clearer, organized scheduling.

🧩 Multi-Row Display in InTakt

When tasks overlap within the same area and time window, InTakt’s Multi-Row View helps untangle the clutter. Whether it’s one-off coordination work, overlapping trades, or ad hoc activities, this feature makes complex visuals readable.

📚 What It Does

  • Automatically splits overlapping tasks into separate visual rows within the same zone.
  • Preserves the clarity of task timing and sequence when multiple activities happen concurrently.

✏️ Creating Overlapping Tasks

  1. Add tasks with the same start and end dates to a single zone.
  1. Tasks will initially stack visually in a single row.
  1. Tap the task stack to view and toggle between them.

👁️ Activating Multi-Row View

  1. Go to Display Options
  1. Scroll to the bottom and toggle on “Multi Zones”
  1. The system will:
      • Automatically allocate additional rows
      • Fit overlapping tasks neatly in the same zone

🔄 Flexible Display Modes

  • Off: All overlapping tasks compress into one visual row (compact but harder to read).
  • On: Tasks dynamically spread out over multiple rows (ideal for meetings or exports).

🧠 Use Cases

  • Coordinating parallel crews
  • Short-term workarounds without breaking logic
  • Displaying non-takt tasks in otherwise clean rhythms
