🚧 Roadblocks in InTakt
Roadblocks help you track and resolve issues that may delay or obstruct scheduled work. They are visible across the system and can be assigned, tracked, and resolved directly within your workflow.
➕ How to Add a Roadblock
- Click the Roadblock button in the top menu.
- Enter:
- Title (e.g.,
R537) - Expected resolution date
- Description (brief context or details)
- Responsible person
- Select the affected tasks
- Click Add
Affected tasks will display a ⚠️ hazard icon in both the schedule and zone map views.
🗺️ Where Roadblocks Appear
- Schedule View: Hazard icon overlays tasks.
- Zone Map: Icons show location-based impact.
- Reports > Roadblocks:
- Full list of active roadblocks
- Shows responsible person, affected tasks, due dates
- Supports filtering (e.g., by trade or keyword) and sorting by any column
✅ Resolving a Roadblock
- In the Roadblocks report, simply check the box to mark it as resolved.
- This updates all linked tasks and clears the hazard icon automatically.
🧠 Best Practices
- Use specific titles (e.g.,
RFI-342: Duct Routing) for fast filtering.
- Assign a clear owner to each roadblock.
- Review roadblocks regularly in team standups or coordination meetings.
