InTakt's export tools for the Weekly Work Plan and Look-Ahead views give users powerful ways to generate clear, professional reports from their live project data. The exports are designed to be fast, flexible, and field-ready—with configurable layouts, filtering, and printing logic built around lean construction workflows.
🗂️ Export Overview
You can export two focused views:
- Weekly Work Plan – detailed short-term plan with subtasks, status, and zone maps.
- Look-Ahead Plan – future-focused plan viewable from 1–6 weeks, ideal for coordination and forecasting.
All export settings are centralized in one interface, with three main tabs:
- Display – Choose time range and filters.
- Paper – Customize headers and page branding.
- Layout – Control fonts, spacing, visibility, and column widths.
All settings are reusable across exports for consistency.
📆 Weekly Work Plan Export
1. Accessing and Configuring the Export
- Click Export and select Work Plan.
Display Tab:
- Set time frame: 1 or 2 weeks.
- Choose a start date via:
- Today
- Lock Line
- Custom Date
- Active filters (phase, zone) are applied automatically. You can refine them.
- Columns like Task and Notes dynamically size to content.
Paper Tab:
- Paper size is fixed at 11”×17” (read-only).
- Add branding and context with:
- Project name
- Print date and date range
- Page numbers
- Primary and secondary company logos
- Control header placement (first page only or all pages).
- Use “Reset to Default” to undo layout changes.
Layout Tab:
- Adjust font size and row height (fit-to-content or fill available space).
- Toggle display options:
- Roadblocks (with icons and IDs)
- Subtasks
- Handoffs
- Holidays
- Task codes, notes, and company names
- Set zone column width:
- Standard options (Narrow, Standard, Wide)
- Custom widths for specific fit
- Zone Map Options:
- Choose size: Small (3 across), Medium (2), or Large (1).
- Place zone map on same page or push to next.
- Zone map adapts to layout size dynamically.
- Zone polygons include labels and unresolved roadblocks (with ID).
Roadblocks Section:
- All unresolved roadblocks are listed with ID and title.
- Roadblock icons also appear inline with tasks and in zone maps.
Preview & Download:
- Live preview updates as settings change.
- Page count displayed.
- Click Download PDF to generate export.
🔭 Look-Ahead Plan Export
1. Accessing and Configuring the Export
- Click Export and choose Look-Ahead.
Display Tab:
- Select weeks to include: 1 to 6 (max width).
- Choose start date via Today, Lock Line, or Custom.
- Search and select specific phases or zones.
- Filters are responsive and update live.
Paper Tab:
- Same header and branding options as Work Plan.
- Read-only 11”×17” paper size.
Layout Tab:
- Select from prebuilt templates (e.g., LeanTakt format).
- Adjust what percentage of the page is used by the schedule vs. notes.
- Toggle:
- Subtask display (hide or show)
- Roadblocks, holidays, weekends
- Task color mode: by task or by company
- Resize fonts and zone columns as needed.
Zone Maps:
- Located on the bottom half of the page or next page.
- Adjust size, layout, and positioning.
- Display roadblocks inside relevant zone polygons with ID.
🧾 Final Touches
- All exports are field-ready: print and physically mark tasks complete.
- Exports are consistent, branded, and lean-aligned.
- Future updates will expand templates and customization options.
