📊 Workforce, Quantity & Cost in InTakt

Tracking labor, quantities, and costs directly in your schedule helps you spot overloads, bottlenecks, and budget issues in real time. InTakt offers three dedicated views—Workforce, Quantity, and Cost—each with dynamic visual feedback and flexible inputs.


🧑‍🔧 Setting Workforce per Task

  1. Open Task Properties
  1. Set:
      • Crew size (e.g., 4 workers)
      • Task-specific overrides are allowed

🔍 View Mode: Workforce

  • Shows number of people on each task
  • Histogram at the bottom totals workforce per day/phase
  • Great for balancing trade loads or spotting labor spikes

📦 Tracking Quantities

  1. In Task Properties, enter:
      • Quantity (e.g., 6,500 sq ft)
      • Select or create a unit type (e.g., square feet)
  1. System automatically calculates quantity-per-day

🔍 View Mode: Quantity

  • Lets you filter by unit type (e.g., square feet)
  • Instantly visualize how much work is planned or completed per day

💰 Cost Loading

  1. In Task Properties, set:
      • Total cost (e.g., $75,000)
      • The system derives cost/day for tracking
  1. Optionally, use task duration to prorate automatically
